Adam has served as chief speechwriter to the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, as a senior advisor to a cabinet minister in the Government of Ontario, and as a law clerk to the judges of the Court of Appeal for Ontario. He is called to the bar in New York.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Adam holds a BA with High Honours from Harvard and a JD from Yale Law School, where he was a Kirby Simon Human Rights Fellow. He is a co-founder and director of Teach For Canada, a non-profit organization that works with Northern communities to recruit, prepare, and retain teachers.

Adam is an Action Canada Fellow and was recognized as a Leader To Be Proud Of by Out On Bay Street in 2014. He lives in Toronto.
